We would like to announce that our company HSS Otomotiv ve Lastik Sanayi A.Þ. successfully went through the 1st annual surveillance audit for ISO/TS 16949 Certification - the highest international standard for the automotive industry - between the 8th and 12th of June 2009.

The audit was conducted by DQS-German Registrar for Management Systems. The surveillance audit was performed by Mr. Hüseyin Bülent Önal from Turkey Office of DQS. After the audit Mr. Önal announced that HSS Otomotiv ve Lastik Sanayi A.Þ. will be recommended for the continuation of the certification of DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 to DQS Registered Office.

The second annual surveillance audit was set for June 2010.

The ISO/TS 16949 was jointly developed by the IATF members and submitted to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for approval and publication. The document is a common automotive quality system requirements catalog based on ISO 9001:2000, and specific requirements from the automotive sector. This document, coupled with customer-specific requirements defines quality system requirements for use in the automotive supply chain.

Approaching our 5th year of organization HSS Otomotiv ve Lastik Sanayi A.Þ. seized an opportunity to present new products and technological improvements by participating in Automechanika Istanbul which attracted a record of 823 exhibitors from 35 countries and 32.514 trade visitors.

As a constantly growing company HSS Otomotiv ve Lastik Sanayi A.Þ. also seized an opportunity in Automechanika to announce that the company has moved its production facilities to a new location in Bursa Free Zone in a covered area of 14.000 m² which is the biggest air spring manufacturing plant bringing together all operations in one location in March 2009.

We would like to thank all the guests for visiting our stand in Automechanika Istanbul 2009 and making the exhibition a great success for us! We also would like to thank all the visitors for the interest in our products.

HSS Otomotiv, which gradually straightens its position in domestic and global market with the air springs developed and manufactured in “Blacktech” brand, continues its investments in spite of economic recession. The Company will put into service new modern production facility project on 14.000 m² covered area in Bursa Free Zone in March.
